The Cheese & Wine Shop was originally established in 1999, re-established in 2019 by Katy & Claire and the baton was passed to Caroline & Dean in 2024.

The shop continues to serve up hard to find cheeses, fine & everyday wines and glorious deli produce from our small shop in Darlington's historic Clarks Yard.

We offer a wide variety of cheeses from all over the world, including Cheddar, Brie, Gouda, and many more. Our cheeses are carefully selected and aged to perfection, ensuring the best possible flavour and texture.

In addition to our cheese selection, we also offer cheese platters, gift baskets, and catering services for events of all sizes. Our knowledgeable staff are always on hand to provide recommendations and to answer any questions you may have.
